Killing of Abdisamad Sheikh-Hussein : ウィキペディア英語版 | Killing of Abdisamad Sheikh-Hussein Abdisamad "Adam" Sheikh-Hussein was a 15-year-old boy who was killed on December 4, 2014 in Kansas City, Missouri. He was a student at Staley High School. He was a Muslim and had immigrated to the United States from Somalia with his family. As he walked near the Kansas City Somali Center, a man intentionally rammed his car into him, knocking him into the air, and then ran over him, nearly severing his legs. He died in hospital. The FBI investigated the incident as an anti-Muslim hate crime. Ahmed H. Aden, a 34-year-old Somali Christian truck driver told police he ran over the boy.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Man charged with murder for allegedly charging teen with SUV outside Kansas City mosque )〕〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=A closer look at the young lives lost )〕 Aden's family described him as a schizophrenic, and he was committed to a mental institution for two years after threatening to burn down a social security office in Minneapolis. He had described himself as a prophet, and made rants against Islam and threats against Muslim worshippers outside a mosque. The SUV used in the attack had an anti-Muslim bumper sticker which compared the Quran with Ebola, while another stated that "Islam is worse than Ebola".〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=FBI investigating the death of somali american teen as a possible hate crime )〕〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Community mourns somali muslim death in Kansas city )〕 Charges of "first-degree murder, armed criminal action, leaving the scene of an accident and unlawful use of a weapon" have been filed by the Jackson County prosecutor, and a grand jury is hearing evidence to decide if he should go to trial. ==See also==
